We hope to inspire your creativity with the projects we share here. We are home schoolers and love to be different, learn new things and have fun. We try to be as open minded as possible and when people say you should do something in a certain way, we ask why? Why should we follow suit? We are all unique and process things in different ways, so we should be free to express ourselves in our own way.

La Bolsa - Simple Knitted Bag - Pattern Details Here
I love my yarn bags! I have been knitting a lot more lately and wanted to add a knitted bag to my design collection. I decided to work in the round (less sewing!), and wanted it to be as simple as possible. You can work in either the magic loop method, or just continuously round on circular needles. With plenty of colours to choose from you can make it your own. You can even use it as storage baskets or project bags. It worked up quickly and only took one ball of yarn to make. It can even be turned inside out so you have two styles for the price of one!
I worked only in knit (garter) stitch and because you are working in the round it comes out as stockingette stitch.
I have uploaded the pattern to www.loveknitting.com and I will be uploading it to Ravelry, so you will be able to purchase it soon and make your very own La Bolsa. PLEASE NOTE: If you are a loose knitter this project may require more than one ball of yarn. You only need one set of 6mm needles, with either 60cm OR 120cm cable (NOT BOTH). The 60cm are for working continuously round. The 120cm cable is for using the magic loop method.
The finished size is (approx.) - circumference 62cm by height 30cm.

Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky ( any shade).
1 x 100g (3.5oz/149yds/136m) ball.
Weight category: UK Chunky [US 5/Bulky/Chunky].
Tension/gauge: 14 stitches x 20 rows = 4″ (10cm) on size 6mm/UK 4 [US J/10] knitting needles.
The knitting needles I used were circular 6mm/UK 4 [US J/10] with a 120cm cable.
I would give the Paintbox Yarns a 5 out of 5 for the following reasons:-
- It was easy to work and worked up quickly;
- There is a large choice of colours available;
- The feel of it was extremely soft;
- The cost of yarn is very reasonable - I paid about £2.25 per 100g ball and you get a lot on a ball;
- Would I use this yarn again? YES, DEFINITELY.
I hope this brings you #creativejoyandinspiration.
